Feeling thirsty? Here's my recipe.
Prep time approx 15 mins (depending on how fast a fruit cutter you are) + chilling time
250g fresh blueberries
170g tinned passionfruit pulp
1.5 William pears (green, firm and crunchy) cut into small pieces/ Alternatively use green apples.
1.5 seedless oranges, thinly sliced and left whole (hold the orange so the stem faces either side when slicing)
1 seedless orange, thinly sliced and then cut into 1/4 segments
Seeds from 1 pomegranate
2.5L chilled fruit punch juice (Golden Circle sunshine brand)
500ml chilled sparkling blood orange soft drink (Schweppes Agrum brand)
1L chilled ginger ale (Kirks brand)
1L chilled sparkling lemonade (Schweppes brand)
1 tray of cubed ice
I have added in the drink brands I use, but other brands should be fine too.
Got a fav fruit not in the list? Add that in too to make it extra yummy and give it your personal touch. hmmm I think I'll try lychee too next time.
How to make it
1. Pour all juice, soft drinks and ice into the drinks dispenser just before serving so the sparkling fizz stays around longer.
2. Add half the raspberries, half the blueberries, all the passionfruit pulp, a handful of the cut pears, all of the whole slices of orange, and a handful of the pomegranate. Mainly to pretty up the punch.
3. Add some of the remaining fruit into your serving cups ready, and/or leave the rest in small bowls on the side so guests can have fun adding more fruit as they go.
