A planter box that can be EASILY MOVED around to catch the sun or shade as needed all year round ... AND as I CHANGE MY MIND about where it looks best depending on my MOOD for the day, week or month :) YES PLEASE!
My collection of old reusable wood came in handy for this outdoor DIY project. I had no plans as I just wanted to EXPERIMENT with what materials I had available and figure out as I go (with help from my dear Dad) how I could make it work.
OLD BED SLATS made up the front/back planels and supporting beams/legs, PALLET WOOD for the side panels, and then TIMBER FLOOR BOARDS for the base.

Gave it 2 coats of paint, lined the inside with builder's film, pierced in some holes for drainage, screwed in the wheels, plonked in the soil and lastly planted the Kangaroo Paw. A nice and quick project. Having it portable is really handy too. I move it around all the time ;P
What do you think? Easy enough for you to give it a go too?
